KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims in the country must unite to strengthen the line and strengthen the struggle to ensure that Islam continue to be protected and the dignity and brotherhood.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, said Muslims now face huge challenges to maintain the glory of religion and the power of the ummah with guidelines the Quran and Sunnah.
"Muslims cannot tolerate malicious damage be unduly we glory. Such efforts should certainly not impossible because Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. myself managed to guide the earliest Muslim community to become the best, "he said in a press release, today in conjunction with the celebration 1434/2013.
In line with this year's theme of ' Ummah ' Wasatiyyah Pillars of the Union, Muhyiddin invite the Muslim community in this country bermuhasabah to see the extent to which Muslims adhere to the teachings of Islam and carry out all the command of Allah and his Messenger.
He said the celebration is one way Muslims shows a description as well as love for the struggle and sacrifice of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) never know the meaning of tired, afraid much once plagued the Islamic sense of frustration for the sake of developing the deficient thus managed to unify mankind under one religion.
"We have made the struggle of the Prophet (PBUH) as a guide our lives particularly in safeguarding the unification of the Islamic ummah in our country, and also to ensure that Islam became a religion.
"If we are aware of our responsibility as a nation of Muhammad (PBUH) then again, today's celebration will be more meaningful," he said.
Muhyiddin also invite Muslims in the country to double the effort to become the best, simple and fair in everything. -NEW STRAITS TIMES
